COVID-19 and ROTARY:
challenge, opportunity, responsibility
The Covid-19 pandemic has turned our lives upside down. Some of us lost friends and relatives and some of us where in the middle of the storm as professionals. Rotarians and rotaractors reacted and responded. We found alternative forms for our club life and our connection to the broad Rotary network changed considerably.
On our main stage we will talk about adaptation and we give some examples of how rotarians were involved as professionals and how Rotary reacted and responded. We will discuss how this crisis influences Rotary life on the long term: the challenges and opportunities for individual rotarians, clubs and Rotary International. How can we impactful support in our communities the biological, economical, pedagogical and cultural vulnerability.
And most important, and following our core values, vision statement and action plan: how should Rotary face the origin and circumstances that caused and enhanced this pandemic.
